CSF Medical Non-Profit Foundation, with the support of the Virginia and Alfred Harrell Foundation, created the S.O.S. COVID-19 emergency relief initiative to assist individuals with urgent needs.
This relief initiative was destined for:
– Appointment with doctor/specialist
– Lab Exams
– Bill Chest X-Ray
– EKG – Electrocardiogram
– Gasoline card
– Transport for medical appointments
– Hotel for medical appointments and/or surgery
S.O.S. COVID-19 Relief was intended to provide aid for basic necessities to low income, under-served individuals who lost their jobs or had their work hours reduced due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), this initiative, although had limited resources and was a one-time aid assistance program, gave assistance to 49 families. CSF’s arduous work and the noble gesture of The Virginia and Alfred Harrel Foundation’s donation provided Financial Relief to these 49 families throughout California. We are proud to be a helping hand during these hard times. CSF will continue to “Share the Hope” in the community and strive towards providing resources to community members in need.
For the Second time CSF Foundation has brought you a health fair that was geared towards results. As a foundation we have been to multiple health fairs; too many to count. As always, we encountered one problem. We questioned ourselves, why was there not a follow up with the guest that attended these health fairs? How sure are we they have been able to find a solution to their medical need?
It is when we started to realize while informative health fairs are necessary and important, we as CSF, with the network we have could create a health fair that will not only provide information but also results!
This health fair is an event in which you can bring you family, your insured and uninsured friends. Everyone will be able to receive these exams for free.
